system brand. We care very much about the integrity of our brand and
product, and hold the original patent.
We are the inventors, the scientists, and manufacturers that developed
KEC.
There are other individuals and companies that have produced
‘knock-off’ facsimiles brands and some were manufactured illegally, and
they have illegally used our patent and UL numbers. They are NOT
the KEC brand. Some of these other units are poorly manufactured. We
tested many of them and found them not to work and some have actually
caused some serious problems, such as fires.
Do not let a representatives from one of these companies install a
KEC box or connect a KVAR unit to your electrical circuitry without doing
sizing with the patented KVAR technology. They will not be able to
determine your power factor or optimize as needed.
